I have a '96 golf mkIII w/ 2.0 8v. when i start it and hit the gas the engine rocks, bogs out and stalls out. i put a new distrib. tune-up, mass air flow sensor, timeing belt, and ignition coil on and it still does the same thing. if you have an idea whats is wrong or an idea pleas help. thank you

 

I think it is your new starter...... take it to the workshop.... this also occurs when the gears that connec starter to the engine are torn off........
