I have a 1997 Golf GL with manual trans. Yesterday I had to move my car to the street and after a few hours I went to move it back in my driveway and my key wouldn't work in the locks. In fact none of the keys I own would turn any of the locks. The key would slip into the keyhole but I couldn't turn it worth a . Over the past few weeks my key and my wife's key would have problems turning the key but a simple taking the key out and putting it back in would turn the lock. It's been getting increasingly harder though and I'm not sure if the cold air has anything to do with it.

For some reason I think the problem is electrical because why wouldALL the locks not turn? I had not washed the car for about a week and a half and it's been quite cold since then and the locks worked then. I had to have a locksmith unlock the door for me this morning. Has anyone experinced this? I am so upset because I don't want to leave my Golf unlocked at night but have to so I can use it. Any suggestions? Thanks, Chris
