I just bought a 2002 GTI Turbo and the car runs and feels great, the only major problem I have is its a 146,000 mile car.
is there anything I should be careful of or watch for? the car is very smooth and feels great.

 

read up about your car punch it in and check for reviews on it sounds like high miles in a short time which is usually commuting which is easy on the car keep the oil fresh change plugs and air filter check vacume and water hoses keep good pressure in the tires have fun
