Default Jetta fuel filter

I'm doing the 40,000 mile service on my '00 Jetta and I don't know how to get the fuel lines off of the fuel filter. Is there a special tool for this? The fittings are rubber and have two rectangular holes for some type of tool. If this does require a special tool, where can I get one?

Thanks,
Randy

Default RE: Jetta fuel filter

i would call a vw dealership and talk to a service tech, they would be able to tell you for sure
all the fuel filters i've seen have just had small hose clamps on them...
