Default Jetta Brake Problem

The front end shudders when I hit the brakes on my Jetta. The problem is particularly bad on the highway. Any ideas? I think it's the rotors because I recently had the front bearings replaced and it started not too long after that.

Sounds like you're getting pulsation. Have your rotors machined or replaced.

Thanks man! I can see odd shaped streaks on the rotors. Do you know what causes that?

I'd have to see them to give you an answer. Usually warped rotors will cause odd lines and pulsation. Check your pads as well. If you're going to replace the rotors or machine them, may as well do the pads if needed.
