Default Interior lights

I got a strange question for ya... I was thinking of making my (interior) door lights blue (for lack of a better name...they light up when the door is open). Any recommendation? If I just add a blue bulb it really dosent create the effect I'm after. Do they make a clear light cover for door lights? Any idea on where I could find one...

not sure man, but i know there is some kind of paint that you can put on the bulb itself that wont melt or anything. I wanna say its model paint but dont quote me on that. i had a few friends that did that a while back

I heard Nail polish worked on that. try it on a piece of clear plastic first and put it to the regular light. if its what your looking for just paint the plastic case instead of the bulb
