How to program your key fob.

You have to take the keys to a local dealer that Nissan. They will give you an estimate on how much it costs. Usually expensive, but in some cases they are not. I work in a former page, and many older vehicles are still expensive. The same should be programmed fob SO unless you have installed the system yourself. :)

VW key fob has two parts. First one a transmitter or a remote and secondly a mutable code transponder along with main key. For programming there are two parts. first to operate the door and second function is as car immobilizer.

Good, thanks for the reply, so useful

Put one key into the ignition and turn it on. Don't start car.
Using the second key lock the car manually outside.
Press unlock once and wait a couple of seconds.
Then press lock once.
Manually unlock the car and remove the key from the ignition.
Now test your key fob.
