They will give you a quote on how much it will cost. Usually these are pricey, but in some incidents they are not. I work at a salvage yard and many of the older vehicles are STILL expensive.

VW key fob has two parts. First one a transmitter or a remote and secondly a mutable code transponder along with main key. Initially for programming you have to make sure that you select the proper remote. select the required frequency. For programming there are two parts. first to operate the door and second function is as car immobilizer.

The regular automobile battery can hold around 50 amp hours, while a marine battery may store 100 amp hours. Both kinds of Battery Tender 12V Charger of electricity.

The reason I ask is because I just got my car and the dealer didn’t have an extra spare key for me…so he gave me some other VW’s key+FOB and told me to get he key part recut at the VW dealership and to reprogram the FOB part myself to save $$$.

That is tricky. Only few ones know this kind of tricks.
When I was new, my thinking was very reluctant to new experiences with vehicle. Then i realized untill you do wrong you cannot learn.
