Is this the correct place?
Hi, I picked up a speed buggy like kit car with a 71 to 73 vw engine. A 61 to 66 tranny. I found all this out while trying to replace the clutch. I began this task because when taking off at times, the back end would go billistick(heavy bounce). Finnally a few times of that the thro out fell off. Any way, got it all replaced/turned with the correct set up and put back together hoping that the clutch/flywheel was the cuase of the bounce, but it was not. I then jacked the rear end up and started pocking around and found the right wheel could be moved in and out about 3/32" and the left side does not move at all. I have taken it apart up to the wheel bearing and I can not find any visable problems. Any one have any ideas? Is the slop in the wheel the cause of the bounce? How can this be fixed?
