my engine code that is right under the oil stand is AE808946. i can't find any site to tell me what kind of motor this is. i know it's a type 1 cause it's aircooled and it looks like an ordinary bug motor but i don't the year of the motor or if it's actually not a bug motor. if anyone can give me any info on my motor i would be very thankful.

 

AE 808 946 doesn't produce any results. All of the AE codes we labeled starting with "AE 0 000 001". Assuming you left out a "0" before 808 946 your engine run started August 1971 as a 48hp 1600cc.
