i was sitting in my car turning it off and on every 15 min or so to keep the heet going. Somehow i must have bumped the car into gear and when i tried to turn it on it lurched forward (its a manual in case you hadent guessed) now when i try to turn the car on it just sits there and i was wondering if anyone knew exactly what it was??

 

Sounds like you trashed the starter.
