Default Best Weld On Hose Fittings for Custom VW Cooling System

Hey everyone,

I'm upgrading the cooling system on my MK4 project and aiming for a cleaner, more durable setup, especially around the radiator and coolant lines. I’ve been looking into options and came across weld on hose fittings as a solid solution for custom routing and tighter spaces.

There are a lot of styles like straight, 45°, and 90°, with various thread types. Has anyone here done something similar on their VW? I’m especially curious about fitment, pressure tolerance, and welding to aluminum or stainless components.

Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.
