Hi folks, new to the forum! Need help :-(

I have a 92' Golf WE with 140k on it.

Been running great since I got it, now though it seems it's having idling
and cruising issues. Seems like it wants to stall a lot and the rpm's keep
jumping or plunging periodically. The car is completely stock.
No noises or whines...

any ideas?

You know after all this time, I did figure it out.
VW and vacum....so picky, meh, stupid little
things cause the biggest problems.
