I have a 1999 VW Passat 1.8T with 168000 miles on it. She is still running like a charm, but I am just sick of the car and am starting to worry about upcoming problems. I have been looking at the brand new 2011 Jetta SE's with convenience and sunroof packages. My stipulations are black with black interior, sunroof and a manual transmission which is rather picky of me but if I'm spending this kind of money I should get what I want. The lowest price I got on the Jetta SE with convenience and sunroof was $20938 which they say is below invoice price. I spoke with a salesman and he said that I will be missing that turbo boost going from my car to a new jetta. Mine now has 150hp according to the window sticker from new and a jetta SE has around 170. After hearing this I started looking for another car up to my specifications and found a certified 2010 Wolfsburg that was purchased in Feb and has 13500 miles on it now. The price is $20475 with the 3 yr 36000 mile warranty and a 2 year 24000 mile warranty so its 5 years 60000 miles basically. Im between a rock and a hard place trying to decide about what to do along with trying to sell my car. Any input on the issue??? Thanks
