I need help figuring something out! my brake indicator light will NOT turn off, even though the hand brake is NOT engaged. when i drive, it beeps continuously, and it is driving me crazy! my husband thought maybe the switch was engaged under the cover, but no, it is not. while we are having this problem with the brake light and beeping, the windshield wipers do not work, nor do the headlights or AC! any ideas what could be causing this? perhaps wiring? please help! thanks.

 

You probably need new brake pads up front, they have a wear sensor or you could be low on fluid. If that's not it something could be wrong with the ABS system or the brake booster or the master cylinder.
