It works fine for me. That's a pretty gross misrepresentationof your car though. I don't know what to say about that.

I thought only the GTI and GLI was 24V GLX and GLS are 12V I dunno whatever your VIN says is it I guess

I just ran my vin through the dealer they told me it was a 2000 Jetta Gls but they couldn’t tell me if it was a 12v or a 24v without further research how do I find out

Your 2000 Jetta won't be 24v its 12v.

All cars are 12v the older air cooled VW's are 6v. Look at the battery if it has top up caps a 6v will have 3 as 12v will have 6.

Your lucky, it's a 24 valve. 200hp vs. 170 from the 12v.

Your lucky, it's a 24 valve. 200hp vs. 170 from the 12v.
