I have a 2003 Jetta GLI and the other day I was told by a random driver that my tail lights were out... My blinkers and brake lights worked but not my tail lights. I replaced the bulbs and they still didn't work... Checked online and got a fuse list and from what I read, the tail lights and brake lights are the same fuse so it can't be the fuse. Anyone that can help?

 

did you get the right type of bulbs?

 

Yeah... I pulled the one in my brake light and my blinker lights and swapped them all around with each other... They work when in the brake or blinker light but not the tail.
