is the ipod chilling in the glovebox? that's pretty cool. i'm getting the 9856 installed next week... can't wait! this will be my 3rd alpine, so i hope you enjoy it as much as i've enjoyed them in the past... and for the record they've never failed on me, i've just gone through several cars in the past few years.
