Default Alarm Disengage

Any help will be greatly appreciated, Just bought a 95 Jetta VR6. Battery died and when I tried to jump it the alarm started sounding(horn). There is no alarm with the key fob. How do I turn off this alarm and start my car. Thanks in advance.

correct. i wasnt sure by your description. i would think that youre going to have to have it taken to a dealership, and they have a sort of hand held computer that can program a fob for it.

hmm..well, how about this first. find an aftermarket shop that specializes in aftermarket alarms and stereo stuff. they may be able to help you. or try to find a fuse for the security system?
