I am trying to get to my head's but I cannot get the fan housing off. My books and instructions be online say to remove the thermostat which appears to be missing.

Here is where the thermostat should be and it is not there.

Nope, not seeing it.
A shop told me there was a bolt on the oil cooler side but I cannot find anything there either. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
