Do you have issues with sudden surges and your car lurching forward or backwards???? I do, but when I went to VW they told me my VIN was not included in the recall. The problem that was common enough when the car was new IS NOT a problem 12 years later. I almost hit a woman crossing in front of my car, in a crosswalk!!!! THIS IS A NEW PROBLEM that was only thought as as being an old problem. If this happening to you, notify VW CUSTOMER CARES and reference my Case # 190810111 and the NTSA and my complaint # 11269173.

IF THIS IS HAPPENING TO YOU - DO SOMETHING BEFORE SOMEONE HAS TO DIE IN ORDER TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE POWERS THAT BE !!!!!!

 

I'm not aware of that 2008 Passat 2009 Tiguan Recall issues.

I am in Washington State. Look for recall 08V235000.It was issued in May 2008 and did not apply to as many cars as are usually involved in a recall. But NOW, 12 years later, my car is doing much the same thing and I suspect there are others. I came very close to hitting a lady walking in front of my car in a crosswalk last week and it has happened 2 more times since. I have filed reports with both VW and the NTSA just to get it in the record.
