hi guys,

i'm from uk and i'm hoping an expert can solve this problem that i'm having with an old sharan that i bought for family.

The mpv is spot on, but i've got a somewhat strange issue of fuel smell that won't go away. Every 10 mins or so we get a strong whiff of diesel in the vehicle which stays there for a couple of mins and then disappears...sometimes it smells like unburnt diesel and sometimes it smells like burnt diesel.

I have so far done a full service, replaced the air, fuel, pollen/cabin filters and it still smells. I've got the mpv onto a ramp and got it checked, but no leak has been found.

This leak is making my baby girl very ill as she has asthma and i don't know what to do

Can any expert help me pls?

May be there are problem with exhaust system...
