Have a 2000 tdi sharan and recently power steering started to make noises on full lock but now it is constatntly noisy and steering wheel judders as you turn it. Checked the fluids, it is all there if anything there is more of it now than before. can any body shine some light on this for me. is there an easy(ish) cure? Thanks

 

yup, sounds like your steering pump is done, replace it,

 

thanks, took it in this morning and was told that "it" was loose. ??? so they tightened "it" and it is just fine now. not bad for £20.
now i need to get my climate control to stop flashing. never ends .....
