Need help with identifying my vehicle

Hello everyone!

I am a swedish youngster who just bought myself a VW bus, from '89. The problem is, I would really like to get a hold of some kind och tech specs or data sheet or manual, just some kind of information abut the components of the bus. There are no marks or model numbers on the bus...the swedish tax authority has registered my bus as a "VW Kombi 253 mc2". That doesn't seem entirely right, and I've tried to search google on various combinations of that text, without any luck.

Are there any of you who can help me identifying my bus? I would appreciate it, I have nowhere else to turn to now...

Hi,
Here in the States, VW called this model the Vanagon GL. And in Germany I think it was called either a Transporter or Caravelle. If you do a search for Vanagon or Caravelle you might get better results. I hope this helps.
