Hello, I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on a problem i have recently with my transporter. Everything seems normal but the oil pressure light and buzzer sometimes come on and sometimes not. Lately it comes on more often than not. i have checked everything and the temp gauge is normal. It drives normal and no funny sounds or noises. Does anybody have any idea? Cheers

 

Brother either your engine has low oil pressure or the oil pressure sending unit that triggers the warning light has failed. Check the level of oil, then send in the vehicle for servicing, it could be your fuel pump also. Don't risk it.
