Fidelity Warranty
 

After mailing requests all over North America, to try and get the extended warranty on the Touareg transfered, I've been told that because I had the vehicle imported by a reseller and that the warranty was not transfered within 30 days that the 7 year 100,000 mile warranty is nul and void. I was just told this by Fidelity, after having to mail letters to Volkswagen Canada warranty department and Volkswagen U.S warranty dept. When I had called Volkswagen originally, I was informed that I would have to submit requests in writing and in snail mail format as the warranty dept do not use e-mail or have a contact number until they call you back. Volkswagen Canada finally called me back to tell me that they don't know anything about U.S. Volkswagen extended warrantees and that I will have to call Fidelity and take it up with them. Now I'm really pissed as I have a 2007 V10 with 73,000km that is about to run out of warranty.

Does this sound accurate and normal?????!!!!
