Upgrading Head Unit
Hi guys...I'm new to this forum. Just picked up a 2015 VW Tiguan SEL. I want to upgrade the head unit and install a 2016 head unit that supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto. I found a few used 2016 units on eBay for sale.
Has anyone made this upgrade in their Tiguan? Will a 2016 head unit be plug and play? Please advise.

Upgrading head units can be a problem if they aren't OEM as you will need to code it with VAG-COM\VCDS. On my other VW forum the expert says Pioneer is a good system.
