A/C problems in Florida
Really hope someone is able to give me some advice. I have a 2009 Tiguan. The a/c worked, until it didn't. Was told by mechanic that it would cost $1300. to fix. Compressor, exp valve, some kind of dryer, flush and freon. I have no idea if this is a good deal. I have MS and cancer so the heat is killing me and have to get fixed. I won't even go into the gas door opening problem or the water that pours in from the carwash, lol. Was told all of these parts would have to be replaced due to the possibility of metal shavings from compressor. And, yes, I am that female that wants to believe. I could tear my 67 Mustang apart and put it back together, this is different animal. Thank you for any input.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!
Default Welcome to Volkswagen Forum - Rules & Recommendations You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing. |
