VW Polo / Electric Window (not working)
 

Hi all. Really hoping somebody can help me.

The electric window wont wind up or down.

Mechanism works, Motor works BUT it would appear that the pully cable that winds the window up and down, has either broken or come loose.

The cable does wind (when you push up or down on the switch), around the spool.

It seems that the cable has to be anchored or fixed to something.. BUT WHAT ?

Dont have a Haynes manual and dont want to buy one !

A Garage would ask for silly money for what appears to be a 10 minute job.

If anyone knows what Im on about, PLEASE help
