Tail Light Fogging
I have a 2006 Polo. Recently, either because of the heavy rains, or a power wash I gave the car, the right side tail light lens is fogged up and won't clear, even though the weather has been dry lately. Is this a common problem? Is there any quick fix to clear the lens, or prevent it from happening? Thanks..

Well if its misting up then the sealing must be too good normally the will slowly fill up with water. I would try drilling a small hole so it will vent to atmosphere on the inside. |
Don't worry! It's very common. The tail lights gets deeply fogged during d chilly weather. It do take time to get clear. I think wiping d lens with a soft cotton cloth wid some lubricant will work a lot. Try this for once. Update it if it has worked.

That isn't really practicable cleaning the lens when it happens is it? It should happen because its sealed in some way, you need to let it breathe.

Thanks, I'll remove the tailight unit and see if I can ensure a drain of some kind.

Foggy tail lights look old and that's dangerous in monsoon season. Foggy tail light does not shine as brightly through the foggy lens. Recently many people prefer to change his light. I just want to use a right quality light for safe drive.
