Polo wont run properly HELP !!!
 

Hi

When I start my engine, it revs itself to 2000 and goes back to 1000. If I dont rev it after that, it cuts out. The EPC and CHECK lights are lit on the dash. During all this, the engine is running but making a very ill noise. Ive tried a new throttle body as I was told the idle control valve (which comes with the throttle body) needed replacing. It didnt work.

Does anyone know whats going on???
