Polo Leaking In Boot From Suspension Rubbers

Hi all,

I am the very proud owner of a 54 plate, 1.2 3 door polo twist. However I have a problem with it leaking water into the boot.

Basically, the car steamed up excessively on a wet day, I didn't really think much of it as my friends does the same. However I had a box in the boot, which was soaked through from the carpet in the boot. I initially thought this was because water had fallen in when I opened it once when raining. It soon became apparent this wasn't the problem, as the whole of the carpet was soaked.

Me and my dad lifted up the carpet to find that the rubber seals that come through from the suspension both were leaking badly. One of the seal caps in totally nackered and the other just isn't working.

The rubbers underneath the caps are leaking too. Is this a common problem? Also whats involved with changing them as they need doing asap?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!
