Polo 9N P0172 check engine + sometimes difficult to start
 

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my car.

Information about my car:
VW Polo 1.2
Motor code: BMD
Year of manufacture: 2005


There is one error code in my car and that is P1072 (System Too Rich, Bank 1)

My fuel filter and fuel pump were also replaced last year. I also replaced the injector on the front cylinder this year.

I also have the following problem:
I have a problem starting the car. In all cases, I start the car with the clutch pressed in.
Sometimes it starts without a problem.
But sometimes it takes 15-20 minutes before it starts up with difficulty. In such cases, I have to play with the gas pedal.


Anyway, after starting the car I do not experience any abnormal operation.

The idle is normal.

There is perhaps a very minimal shudder, which is usually indicated by my wife, but I don't feel it.


Who has experienced such a mistake?

Can you suggest something to stop these problems?

Hi. Can anyone shed any light on this please?
I have same engine 2007 polo.
it takes about three attempts to start with throttle fully depressed. I can put the semi-automatic into gear on the third attempt without stalling, and then engine fires. It also throws up a P0172 code. Bank 1
too rich, and the engine runs rough at idle and in low revs

any help appreciated
