Odd Electric Window Problem

I am having a problem with the passenger side electric window on my 58 plate polo Match 1.4.

Neither the drivershttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/4.gif side button or passenger side button operate my passenger side window. Nothing happens, there is no sound from the motor and nothing is jamming it.

However when I remove the fuse and put the same fuse back again the passenger window operates fine if you use the drivers button but only for a few minutes. Then eventully it stops working (i.e. can't be a blown fuse). Have not worked out what stops it working yet, it appears to be a period of time.

The drivers side window works fine. The back windows are manual.

Any ideas what it might be?

The fact that you remove and insert the fuse back in and it works for a while it sounds like a power problem. Even if the fuse looks ok put a new one in as fuses can have intermitant breaks/contacts. Check the fuse contacts in the fusebox are clean.

If you are driving a car, you observe that electric window may have many problems. Either it can not open or close easily. At that time it might be a problem of its fuse or having loose wire contacts.
