New to the forums and is in need if help.
Hi all. Name is Martin and am looking to purchase my first 'new car' -VW Polo 1.2 TSI.
Been reading 'Buying a new car? How much will a car dealer come down, negotiate, or haggle on price?' on a website (link here) and wondered if it was possible to haggle about dropping the car price down from £15,305.00 down to £13,219.02 at the VW-dealership in Kent, Tunbridge wells. Even at £14,000 I'd still be happy.
Drivethedeal.co.uk does it at £13,219.02 so obviously I would go after that.
Drive the deal comes with 3 years free tax and insurance.
PS: I couldn't find the right section to post this.

Welcome to the forum Martin.
Its a matter of negotiating the best deal that suits you at the dealers or online.
Any particular reason you want the 1.2 Polo?
Correct we don't have a Polo section so posting in here is just as good or in General Technical but as its your first post we will leave it the New Members Area.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Was given a 2011 Polo 1.2 TSI as a courtesy car for a week and during that week I kinda liked it. Torque is amazing for a such a small engine and after 70mph on the motoway, it still has the power to go without struggle.
Tax is only £115 and petrol is roughly the same as the current polo i'm driving which is the 1.2 Polo Moda.
Would preferred it if they had the 1.2 TSI DSG version but unfortunately the only one they do is the 1.4 TSI DSG which is the GTI version.
And because it has a turbo, it makes the car sounds better than my current polo
I'm hoping to get the car during march sometime
