Just bought a 2017 1.2 Polo Match Edition
​​​​​​Trying to determine the exact engine type.
Is it a TSI? No badge on back.
When trying to use the VIN checker on this site it says invalid VIN.
Here is the VIN minus the last 5 digits

You need to check the engine code of the data sticker.

Please tell us your car spec in your signature

There are no good online VIN checkers.

 

I am a member of a number of forums and tend to post any solutions I find to my own posts.

I found the engine details on the V5 (log book). It is a TSI. Not sure why there isn't a badge

 

The V5 logbook doesn't show engine codes.

As I've said you need to check the engine code of the data sticker.
