1999 VW polo 1.4 8V ht lead arrangment
 

hello !!!

so im new to the ownership of vw's and have always been a ford man, but thought id join in on all you ''dub'' boys to see what its all about. anyway i got a little 1.4 polo and in a stupid moment forgot to note what order the ht leads go !! so i have brand new ignition system but forgot how it goes. :o anyway any help would be grateful

Sorry this hasn't been answered before I've only just seen this while I was searching for the number of Polo users on here.

Well I assume you must have the firing order sorted by now. Look at the engine from the front No.1 cylinder should be facing forward on the distributor cap. The distributor rotates anti-clockwise so from No.1 No.3 is the next one to fire the No.4 then No.2.
