Somehow the wiring bundle that runs from the body to the trunk lid will not retract and pinches when the lid closes. This keeps the lid from closing completely and ultimately will cut the bundle. My VW dealer says the needed part comes only with the complete wiring harness which costs many (many) thousands. The dealer has never seen this problem. Any solutions? I have tried to upload a picture. Not sure whether it worked. Thanks for any suggestions
