Year 06- Radio Lock
 

I bought a new radio from eBay for my Passat and it asked me for a code, but I didn't know how to get rid of it so I just pressed a few buttons and apparently it locked. I called the dealer and got the code I need, but now I can't enter it in because it is locked! Also, the numbers on the radio are from 1 to 6, and the code the dealer gave has the number "9" in it, so how am I supposed to type that in. Please help!

Well if you bought this radio of ebay then they should have supplied the radio code. The code the dealer has is for the original radio fitted to that car.

But they asked me for the serial number of the radio, and gave me a code specifically for it.

Well ask them which buttons you press to put the code in.

Normaly, the numbers on the radio are from 1 to 4, but you can give me the VIN number i will try get radio code for you.
