Default Wheel alignment?

I've been noticing this recently and I need help. I drive a 2012 Passat SEL and I am concerned about alignment. Recently in the past 2 months I have been noticing that whenever I'm driving at higher speeds(30-70mph) the car will pull to the right if I let go of the wheel. I suspected an alignment issue and we did take it to volkswagen for service. The man there gave it a drive and told us that it's to early to tell if the car has alignment issues. I've got almost 3,000 miles on it. He said that because the car is front wheel drive, and that the drive shaft is on the right side, that's what could be pulling the car. He said to comeback again in a few months and get it checked again if we feel it's getting worse. I felt a bit more at ease but I wanted to know if anyone else out there with a 2012 passat is experiencing the same thing.

Just keep purging the dealer to get it fixed under warranty. What they said He said that because the car is front wheel drive, and that the drive shaft is on the right side, that's what could be pulling the car is just BS.

Wheel Alignment should be checked whenever new tires are installed, suspension components installed, when the vehicle has encountered a major road hazard or curb and any time unusual tire wear patterns appear.

Wheel Alignment is theMeasurement of complex suspension angles and the adjustment of a variety of suspension components. It is a suspension-tuning tool which greatly influences the vehicle's handling and tire wear.
