Default uring dry gas int'06 Passat V6 Wont's start in cold

Hi all - new to the forum. I bought my wife a new '06 V6 Passat in October and we're very happy with it. But recently we have been having trouble starting it on cold mornings. The first time I thought it might be because the gas tank was low, so I filled it up. The dealer then looked at it and found no problems or error codes. It happened again this morning and we had to borrow a friend's car to get my wife to work. Any thoughts? Should I try pouring dry gas into the tank?

Thanks in advance for any ideas or insight.

Hey I know this is an old message, but did you ever get it figured out with the Passat? I also have the same model car as you & was wanting to know if there are anythings that stand out thatyou would wanna share? I have been hearing like a "creek" noise lately since it has gottan cold. It only does it when i go up hill or over speed bumps. Also the premium sound system sometimes kicks in major bass from the subwolfer when I go up or down hills. And what grade of gas do yall use?
