Hi. I recently bought an Automatic 2001 VW Passat GLX V6.

I'm having trouble with my sideview mirrors. I can't get the memory feature and reverse tilt features to work. I've followed the directions in the manual but they aren't working.

I was told that the mirror positions would be saved with the seat position but my car only seems to be saving the seat position.

I was also told that if I moved the mirror adjustment **** to R while in Reverse, the mirror would tilt down on it's own. However, all that happens is the mirror tilts itself up slightly (opposite of what needs to happen).

Is there a way for me to check exactly which features/options my car has? There's a sticker in the manual with a bunch of 3 letter/digit options codes but nothing that explains what they mean.
