Hello. My wife has one poopy Passat and I "want to make all the decisions like Deborah on Everybody Loves Raymond and not let Ray make any of the decisions". I am wondering how to recharge refrigerant into the A/C system. I am mechanically inclined, but I don't have any tools. But it would be cheaper for me to go get the appropriate tools and do it myself. Anyways can anybody tell me how to do this? And what to get in order to do this? Thanks. Peace outside.

 

You can go to the parts store and get a can of freon with a gauge on it and follow instructions.
