Hello all!

Brand new to the forum...and wow there's alot of "NIKE" bullsh*t around here.

Anyway I've got a problem with my 2000 Passat GLX wagon. It's a v6 30V. Under acceleration it makes a terrible whirring/whining/zzzzzzzzz noise. Sounds almost like a blown turbo. The sound comes between about 1500 - 3200 rpms. Ive been told it could be a number of things but it definetly sounds like its coming from the front (intake or manifold...). Ive replaced the cat just because the dealer recommended it, but the sound is still there. ANybody have any ideas...advice? Thanks inadvance!
