I've very recently gotten a 2001 passat 1.8 turbo from a private owner and it's a great car and very mechanically sound but the drivers side window will not go down. when I press the button to make it go down I hear a motor running like it should be moving but it's not. I'm assuming that it's probably just off track and needs to be popped back in place but could someone please explain how to remove the door panel and fix the problem?
