Passat TSB/recalls
 

[hr]I just recently purchased a used 2003 Passat and was wondering how do you know if the car has been checked for TSB/recall issues ? How do you find out if your car is affected? I do not know when my car was manufactured (birth date) The cars that may have this problem were mfg. between 9/01/02 through 3/31/03. The recall in question was issued on 1/23/06 and is for the fuel pump. Under certain condition failure could result. Thanks

If you contact your local VW dealer with your car reg number they can check for any outstanding recalls and check recall history
