Passat and Audi A6 - same rails?
 

New here, hi all :)

I got a Passat '98 that needs new rails. I have come across some cheap rails for an A6 '00, and they really look the same. I have compared my rails to rails fixed on an A6 '99, and they are identical on the outside, I am just worried about the fixing to the roof. Does anyone know if they are the same?
