hey i have a 92 vw passat 2.0 16 V is there ne other vw that is compatable with that engine for aftermarket parts if so what kind and what parts

Any 16V 2.0 Volkswagen engine has compatible parts like a 90-97 passat or even a 1.8 Scirocco has compatible parts like all of the sensors for the coolant and the fans and the oil and even the oil coolers. Needless to say that that engine is very common and shares the same parts as any of the 1.8 to 2.0 earlier volkswagen engines. The only thing that is different between the 1.8 and 2.0 is weather or not it is a DOHC and the size of the block and the transmission. Other than that, all of the other parts like the intake are the same.

I do agree, this engine is very much compatible for a 90' to 97' passat, I even saw my friend installation most of the engine's VW performance parts in his Scirocco... I forgot though the exact parts that he installed... Until now, my friend is not having a single problem regarding its compatibility...
