Got the B3 TYP back home last night.

After work today i thought i'll tackle the speedo problem (no speedo, mfa funtions or odometer) the rev counter , fuel gauge and temp gauge all still work fine.

Found the wires on the speed senor wiring on the mutiplug wire broken, repaired them with heatshrink connectors i got from work. Took it for a quick run to see if the problem was fixed. NO

now i'm leaning towards the sensor itself. Wheres the best place to get one from??? is the auto box thats in the passat the same as what would be found in a mk3 golf?????? and would the sensor be the same from a mk3 golf????
