is my dsg gear faulty
Hello,
can anyone help me please
i just bought a Passat 2011tsi 1.4. I noticed while i am decelerating (e.g from 70km/h to 40km/h while i am taking my foot of the gas peddal)the dsg gear shifts down from d7 to d6 only. if i try to re accelerate the motor vibrates a little (if i continue it will accelerate but with vibration at first), i then downshift manually by pressing (-) on the stearing wheel, inorder that i can re accelerate smoothly(without this vibration felt). my question is (is there a problem with the gear, or that is normal?) N.B at this speed the rpm is at 1.6 on d6 and when i shift manually to 5 it is the same speed, but i feel acceleration is smoother with no vibration felt. Please advise me what i can do and whether or not i should keep it on autogear. I have made only 300km with the car (new)and 1 am running slow on the car to try and prolong the life of the engine
